TWO TYPES OF TEMPLATES ON NINJATRADER:

  • Please distinguish Indicator template versus Chart template.
  • Chart template is a collection of the Indicators templates saved as a Chart.
  • Please do not install templates as indicators. Templates must be placed inside Indicator template folders manually. 

READY-TO-USE TEMPLATES:

Unzip CHART TEMPLATES TO Chart folder:

- Save unzip new CHART template inside Documents\NinjaTrader 8\templates\Chart\ 

Unzip Indicators template to folder name of each indicator:

- Save /unzip new individual indicators inside: Documents\NinjaTrader 8\templates\Indicator\indicatorname \

HOW TO LOAD TEMPLATES:   

  • To load an indicator template: 
  1. Right-click on the chart and select "Indicators" or press Ctrl+I to open the Indicators window.
  2. Click the "Template" menu in the bottom-right corner of the window.
  3. Select "Load" to see a list of your saved templates.
  4. Choose the template you want to apply and click "OK".  

To load CHART template:

Open new empty chart with no indicators on 30 second time frame. 

Right click on the chart ->  Templates -> Load

it wil open folder with saved charts Documents\NinjaTrader 8\templates\Chart\  and ask you to select a tample you want.

Please read careffuly template names. Template names can be includes a Ticker/ Instrument like NQ or ES or GC or MGC, time frame - like 30 Seconds and a SEssion time - like NY Session . It may include names of Indicators included on the chart. YOu must have these indicators installed, otherwise youwil get an error and the Charttemplate wil not find all indicators included. Immedeately SAVE this template with your own name to keep using that Chart templae without errors.  

Chart templates:  Multiple indicators assembled on one chart :

- To load a Chart template,  right click on a chart/ Templates/ Load... 
- To save a chart template, right click on a chart/ Templates/Save as...
- New chart templates should be manually copied/unzipped into directory: 
C:\Users\olegm\Documents\NinjaTrader 8\templates\Chart\

Feel the  Difference 

I am a trader with over 6 years of experience trading volume indicators on NinjaTrader.  Other third-party vendors that sell indicators for NinjaTrader are known for their poor quality and the difficulty of using their indicators, which can cause charts to become slow and sluggish.

The main difference

We build indicators for speed and performance:

  • BOF - BestOrderFlow is the first to release the MBO Market By Order DOM for trading on NinjaTrader charts. 
  • BOF - BestOrderFlow is the first to release Depth of Market Dom and Heatmap NT, which does not freeze during periods of high volatility and ATR

  • We tested all third-party indicators, including BOOKMAP and other Heatmap(s), and based on solid data tests, discovered their insufficiency in speed and accuracy in performance during extreme volatility. 
  • We tested other third-party Icebergs and found that their nature of Icebergs is based on calculations of level 2 data instead of level 3 data.
  • True icebergs can be built only on Level 3 data, such as Market by Order (MBO).

LEDGER NT is a record of interactions between all market participants, including both aggressive orders and passive orders. The term LEDGER is a better description of interactions between level 1 data, level 2 data, and level 3 data orders.
